Job summary

Novant Health's Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 20-bed Intermediate Critical Care Unit. Schedule: 7p-7a, full-time nights, direct patient care in a high-acuity unit.

You will care for diverse patients including medical, surgical, neuro and Detox/Withdrawal cases, with nurse-to-patient ratios of 3:1 to 4:1, and strong leadership support. Opportunities for growth and advancement are available.

Qualifications

• RN license in appropriate state is required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; if inactive, refresher course may be required.
• One year of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer titratable IV drips and support devices (BiPAP, high-flow oxygen).
• Manage stable tracheostomies (no ventilators) and continuous in-room monitoring.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Build genuine, personalized relationships with patients and their families.
