Job summary

SOCOTEC US has an immediate opening for an ICC Pre-Stressed Concrete / Post-Tensioning (PTI) Level 2 Special Inspector for an approximately 12-week project at UNLV in Las Vegas, NV. The role may transition to full-time employee or independent contractor based on qualifications and availability.

The Inspector will perform special inspections of pre-stressed and post-tensioned concrete, document activities, and communicate findings to the Project Manager, contractors, engineers, and client

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in structural concrete inspection.
• Experience with pre-stressed and/or post-tensioned concrete.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, specifications, and project details.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform special inspections of pre-stressed and post-tensioned concrete construction.
• Document inspection activities and findings and communicate with project stakeholders.
• Maintain timely communication with Project Manager, contractors, engineers, and client representatives.
