Job summary

SOCOTEC has an immediate opening for an ICC Pre-Stressed Concrete / Post-Tensioning (PTI) Level 2 Special Inspector for a 12-week project at UNLV in Las Vegas, NV. The Inspector will perform special inspections of pre-stressed and post-tensioned concrete, document findings, and communicate with the Project Manager, contractors, engineers, and client representatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of relevant experience in structural concrete inspection.
• Thorough knowledge of pre-stressed and post-tensioned concrete construction and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform special inspections of pre-stressed and post-tensioned concrete construction per approved documents and codes.
• Document inspection activities and findings; maintain clear communication with PM, contractors, engineers, and client representatives.
• Identify deficiencies and communicate issues effectively to the team and client.
