Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Prestressed Concrete Inspector to join our Albuquerque, NM team. This role performs QA services at concrete plants in the Albuquerque area and requires PCI Level 2 or 3 certification with experience in highway and bridge construction.

The job involves inspecting materials, ensuring compliance with drawings and specs, coordinating with project stakeholders, writing daily reports with photos, and participating in safety meetings. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current PCI Level 2 or PCI Level 3 Certification.
• Experience performing Quality Assurance/Quality Control.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to travel as needed, including overnight stays when out of town.
• Possession and maintenance of a valid driver license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect concrete and Prestressed Concrete for highways and bridges.
• Monitor compliance with shop drawings, standards, and specifications.
• Communicate with owners, fabricators, engineers, and project personnel at fabrication facilities.
• Document daily shop/field reports in digital format, with photos and narratives.
• Participate in WSP safety meetings.
