Job summary

Phoenix National Labs, located in Tempe, AZ, seeks Certified ICC/IFC Special Inspectors to support major commercial, industrial, manufacturing, and semiconductor construction projects across Arizona. Ideal candidates will hold ICC Special Inspector certifications and have experience in structural steel, high-strength bolting, fireproofing, and IFC/FCIA firestop inspections.

These are permanent and/or contract positions, with travel and flexible arrangements.

Qualifications

Current ICC Special Inspector certifications including Structural Steel Inspection, HS Bolting Inspection, Fireproofing Inspection, and IFC/FCIA Firestop Inspection.
Proven experience performing special inspections on commercial or industrial construction projects.
Strong understanding of applicable codes, standards, and quality assurance requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform field inspections to verify compliance with approved plans, specifications, building codes, and industry standards.
Complete inspection reports and project documentation accurately and timely.
Coordinate with project stakeholders to resolve inspection-related issues.
Maintain safety, professionalism, and technical excellence on site.
