Job summary

Intertek-PSI in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an ICC Special Inspector to join our team. The role involves performing inspections, testing, site observations and coordinating with project teams to ensure quality and safety in our A/E/C projects.

Required are a High School diploma, 2 years of inspection experience, and ICC reinforced concrete certification, with valid driver’s license and ability to work shifts. Intertek offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within a global QA network.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years' related inspection experience.
• ICC reinforced concrete certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable driving record.
• Ability to work off shifts and overtime.
• Ability to communicate effectively in verbal & written communication.
• Lift/move up to 50 pounds frequently; over 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods.
• Work outdoors in adverse weather conditions; hot/cold.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and calibrate testing equipment and conduct soil and/or concrete testing.
• Utilize drawings, specifications and diagrams.
• Read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Observe site activities and perform tasks and complex assignments.
• Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results.
• Communicate effectively with client and project teams and attend project meetings.
