Job summary

TTL is seeking an ICC-certified special inspector to work on Southeast projects, performing on-site inspections and QA/QC testing of soils, masonry, reinforced concrete, steel, and fireproofing. The role requires five ICC certifications, ACI certification, and strong communication skills.

Applicants should have at least 3 years of experience in special inspections, a valid driver’s license, and stamina to work outdoors in varying conditions. Proficiency in Word/Excel is expected.

Qualifications

• ICC certifications in reinforced concrete, soils, masonry, structural steel, and fireproofing; all five preferred.
• ACI certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site observations and inspections to ensure compliance with local building codes
• Collect samples per project requirements and ASTM standards
• Perform QA/QC testing on construction materials and building components
• Follow proper procedures, perform accurate computations, and maintain cordial relationships with coworkers, clients, contractors, etc
