Job summary

Certerra is seeking an ICC Special Inspector in Salt Lake City to perform on-site observations, collect samples, and verify compliance with local codes and project documents. You will read plans and specifications and work under the supervision of a PE or PM.

The ideal candidate holds ICC certifications in soils or concrete and ACI Field Grade 1/NAQTC, with 2+ years of multi-discipline inspection experience, a valid driver\'s license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• ICC certifications in at least one of the listed areas (Soils, Structural Concrete, Post-Tension/ Reinforced Concrete, Masonry or Fireproofing).
• ACI Field Grade 1 or NAQTC certification is required.
• Two or more years of experience performing multi-discipline special inspections and tests.
• Ability to read and comprehend plans and specifications.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Valid state driver\'s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• On-site observations and inspections to confirm compliance with local codes and project documents.
• Collecting samples for testing.
• Perform QA/QC tests on construction materials per ASTM/ACI standards.
• Compile detailed records of observations, inspections and test results.
