Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of experience as a Building, Electrical, Mechanical or Plumbing Inspector.
• ICC certification in all four inspection areas or ICC Combination Inspector from Legacy Codes.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license and ability to obtain Nevada license within required time frame.

Responsibilities

• Inspects commercial buildings in all four areas of construction: structure, electrical, mechanical and plumbing.
• Verifies continuous compliance with approved plans, specifications, codes, ordinances and regulations.
• Performs inspections, investigates and analyzes problems and recommends solutions for complex systems.
• Resolves issues relating to code compliance.
