Job summary

Qualis LLC is seeking a Test Engineer to support the Air Force Sentinel ICBM program at Hill AFB, UT. You will plan, execute, analyze, and report developmental tests to evaluate weapon system performance in a secure environment.

The role requires a BS or MS in engineering (or 6 years of equivalent experience), 3+ years in DoD testing, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or MS in engineering; 6 years of related work can substitute for a degree.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in DoD weapon systems, acquisition lifecycle, and developmental testing.
• Experience with verification testing (functional, performance, interfaces) and data instrumentation.
• Ability to travel up to 10% and obtain/maintain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test plans and procedures from system requirements.
• Identify resources, equipment, and instrumentation for testing.
• Lead risk assessments and report plan methodology to leadership.
• Coordinate with prime contractors, facilities, and government entities for tests.
• Oversee test execution, data collection, and analysis per data plan.
• Prepare test reports with conclusions and recommendations on system performance.
• Present findings to technical stakeholders and program decision makers.
• Contribute to process improvements in test methods and compliance.
