Job summary

Qualis LLC is seeking a Test Engineer to support developmental testing of support equipment on the Sentinel ICBM program. You will plan, execute, analyze, and report test activities to evaluate weapon system performance.

Develop test plans, coordinate with stakeholders, and brief government leadership on methodology and risks. Travel up to 10% and maintain readiness for a Secret clearance while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a Master’s Degree in an engineering field; 6 years may substitute for a Bachelors.
• 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with DoD weapon systems, acquisition lifecycle, and developmental testing as it relates to systems engineering.
• Experience with specification requirement verification, including functional, performance and interface testing.
• Experience with statistical methods to determine test sample sizing and performance uncertainty.
• Experience with selecting instrumentation to collect test data.
• Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines.
• Utilize resources effectively to accomplish work, including ability to work effectively alone and within a group.
• Personal and organizational interactions exhibit and foster cooperation and teamwork.
• Verbal and written communications are clear, concise, and appropriate for the audience.
• Be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Identify and define test resources, equipment, and instrumentation.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders for test planning and execution.
• Brief government leadership on test plan methodology and risks.
• Oversee test execution and data collection activities.
• Analyze test data to evaluate performance against requirements.
• Document deficiencies and determine root cause analysis.
• Prepare test reports summarizing results and recommendations.
• Present findings to stakeholders in briefings and reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve test processes, procedures, and methodologies.
• Adhere to safety, security, and compliance regulations.
