Job summary

Yorkshire Water is seeking a Project Engineer ICA to design, develop, deploy and test Instrumentation, PLC/HMI/LOI, and SCADA systems. You will lead technical and financial aspects of projects, ensuring safe, compliant outcomes aligned with business needs and CDM requirements.

The role requires broad experience with electrical/ICA equipment, valid driving license, and willingness to travel across the Yorkshire region.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent ICA Apprenticeship & ONC/HNC/BTEC in Electrical or ICA Engineering.
• Broad experience with electrical and ICA equipment to produce engineered solutions.
• Qualifications to facilitate Yorkshire Water Electrical Authorisation (LV).
• Ability to propose enhancements and challenge PLC/HMI/SCADA usage.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel across Yorkshire region.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy and test ICA services across instrumentation, PLC, HMI/LOI and SCADA systems.
• Take technical and financial lead on projects ensuring value and alignment to business requirements.
• Ensure projects meet quality, standards and statutory requirements including CDM.
