Job summary

Calpine Corporation seeks an experienced IC&E Technician III to support safe, reliable operation of its natural gas-fired and geothermal power plants. This field-based role calibrates field instruments, supports DCS/PLC operation, and performs preventive and corrective maintenance on complex instrumentation and electrical systems.

You will interpret P&IDs and schematics, collaborate with operations and engineering teams, and contribute to continuous improvement while adhering to rigorous safety

Qualifications

• Experience with instrumentation, controls, and electrical systems in industrial plants.
• Ability to calibrate field instruments and troubleshoot complex systems.
• Familiarity with P&IDs and schematics; support safe, reliable operation.
