Job summary

Calpine Corporation seeks an experienced IC&E Technician III to support safe, reliable operation of its natural gas-fired and geothermal power plants. This field-based role calibrates field instruments, supports DCS/PLC operation, and performs preventive and corrective maintenance on complex instrumentation and electrical systems.

You will interpret P&IDs and schematics, collaborate with operations and engineering teams, and contribute to continuous improvement while adhering to rigorous safety

Qualifications

Experience with instrumentation, controls, and electrical systems in industrial plants.
Ability to calibrate field instruments and troubleshoot complex systems.
Familiarity with P&IDs and schematics; support safe, reliable operation.

Responsibilities

Calibrate field instruments and maintain instrumentation.
Support DCS/PLC operation and troubleshooting.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and control systems.
