Job summary

AMETEK, Inc.’s Forza Silicon unit in Pasadena, CA is seeking an Intern for Integrated Product Services Design. You will participate in all design phases, from specification to test, under the direction of the Director, Integrated Product Services.

You will gain hands-on experience with lab equipment and programming languages such as Python, Verilog/VHDL, and C, and contribute to design bring-up and test automation in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscope, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters.
• Knowledge of python, Verilog/VHDL, mahlab and/or c programming.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Motivated to carry out a wide variety of tasks with clear communication and presentation skills in a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design phases from specification to test.
• Perform tests and characterization on custom test systems.
• Bring-up prober and probe wafers in the cleanroom.
