Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. through its Forza Silicon unit invites applications for an Intern in Integrated Product Services Design in Pasadena, CA. The role spans specification through bring-up of custom test designs, with hands-on lab work in a cleanroom environment.

You will gain exposure to Python, Verilog/VHDL, and C programming, work with oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver design solutions.

Job Description

Position Summary: This position will report to the Director, Integrated Product Services. This position will involve all phases of a design project, including specification and architectural design, detailed circuit design, simulation, layout, verification, and design bring-up and test.

Primary Responsibilities

• Participate in the different design phases from specification, through design, bring up and automation of custom test designs.
• Perform tests and characterization using our custom test systems
• Bring-up prober and probe wafers in the cleanroom
