IBS Customer Service Specialist I

Active - Regular full-time Decatur IBS, Decatur, AL, US

Primary Goal: Interstate Billing Service is an industry leader in managing commercial accounts receivable for the trucking, automotive, and aftermarket parts industries. The Customer Service Specialist will help create a premier accounts receivableexperience by providing exceptional service through relationship building, effective communication, and collaboration with our customers, clients, and team members.

Primary role objectives:

• Actively listens
• Communicates effectively through verbal and written correspondence
• Collaborates with customers, clients, and team members
• Interacts with all parties in a positive manner
• Investigates delinquent accounts to identify the cause of delayed payment
• Confirms legitimacy of invoices
• Maintains accurate account records
• Engages management on changes in pay history, ability to pay, and willingness to pay
• Uses multiple web-based applications
• Other duties as assigned

Working Conditions:

Minimum Level of Preparation and Training:
