Job summary

KBI Biopharma, Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Automation & Systems Specialist to develop automation, reporting tools, and data pipelines that enhance supply chain visibility, improve efficiency, and reduce manual processes across procurement, inventory, and manufacturing readiness.

You will work with Python, SQL, Power BI, and SAP data structures to build proactive control tower workflows, monitor KPIs, and support continuous improvement initiatives while reducing reliance on manual

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Intermediate to advanced Python skills.
• Strong SQL skills and Power BI experience.
• Experience with ERP data, preferably SAP.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based automation solutions.
• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting.
• Build data pipelines and data quality checks for supply chain analytics.
• Extract and analyze SAP data to investigate discrepancies and PO/material master data.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and drive digital solution implementations.

Job Summary

The Supply Chain Automation & Systems Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining automation solutions, reporting tools, and data pipelines that enhance supply chain visibility, improve operational efficiency, and reduce manual processes.

This role combines supply chain knowledge with technical expertise in Python, SQL, Power BI, and SAP data structures to support inventory optimization, procurement monitoring, manufacturing readiness, and supply chain risk management.

The Specialist will develop tools and workflows that enable the IBPE organization to operate as a proactive Supply Chain Control Tower.

Key Responsibilities

Automation & Digital Solutions

• Develop and maintain Python-based automation solutions.
• Automate recurring reporting and KPI generation.
• Build exception-monitoring tools and alerting capabilities.
• Reduce manual spreadsheet-based processes.
• Support automated inventory and procurement risk monitoring.

Data Engineering & Reporting

• Develop SQL queries and datasets.
• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards.
• Support master data validation and data quality monitoring.
• Build data pipelines supporting supply chain analytics.

SAP Support

• Extract and analyze SAP data.
• Support investigations involving:
  • Inventory discrepancies
  • Purchase orders
  • Material master data
  • Production planning parameters

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for process automation.
• Support implementation of digital solutions.
• Measure productivity improvements resulting from automation.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Intermediate to advanced Python skills.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Power BI experience.
• Experience working with ERP data, preferably SAP.
