Job summary

Slalom is seeking a supply chain technologist to deliver projects across industries, focusing on IBP, S&OP and analytics to transform client operations. You’ll collaborate with clients to reimagine business models and customer experiences using emerging technologies.

The role emphasizes problem solving, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration with a strong consulting background and a passion for delivering tangible value. Travel may be required depending on client needs.

Qualifications

• Prior Consulting Background is highly preferred for Senior Consultant+ levels.
• IBP (Integrated Business Planning) and S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) required.
• Experience in one or more areas: Supply Chain Analytics, Sourcing & Procurement, Supply Chain Planning, Logistics & Fulfillment, or Manufacturing.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Entrepreneurial energy, creativity, empathy and leadership.
• Proficiency with MS PowerPoint and Excel; Tableau, SQL, Python or R is a plus.
• Experience with supply chain systems (TMS, WMS, OMS, ERP) and agile development.
• Track record of communicating complex ideas to senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects for supply chain organizations across industry sectors.
• Support, guide and manage IBP and S&OP initiatives.
• Partner with clients to innovate and transform business models using advanced analytics and technologies.
• Use interviews, workshops and data insights to diagnose problems impacting operating margin.
• Execute across analytics, technology, process, and operating model design to create holistic solutions.
• Work independently or as part of a team, mentoring others as needed.
• Build client knowledge and long-term relationships quickly at all levels.
