Job summary

State Street Corporation in Irvine, CA seeks a Software Developer for the IBOR Development Team. The role focuses on COBOL-based IBOR applications, with collaboration across senior developers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver robust software solutions.

You will design, develop, test, and maintain critical IBOR components, supporting modernization efforts and ensuring reliability in a globally distributed environment. Onsite 4 days a week with one remote day, during standard business hours.

Qualifications

• Hands-on COBOL development experience.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
• Ability to analyze complex business and technical requirements.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain in-house IBOR applications.
• Support and enhance COBOL-based applications and business functionality.
• Participate in analysis, coding, testing, and implementation activities.
• Collaborate with senior developers and business analysts to translate requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Perform code reviews and adhere to standards.
• Participate in system integration, testing, and deployment.
