Job summary

VRN Technologies seeks an experienced Data/ETL Engineer with strong focus on Datastage. The role requires 8+ years in DWH/BI, design and development of ETL strategies, and proficiency in RDBMS and Unix scripting.

You will handle end-to-end implementations, collaborate with clients and offshore teams, and produce design documentation while coordinating with QA for timely delivery. Responsibilities include requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and performance tuning of Datastage

Qualifications

• Experience in core development on Datastage v8+.
• 8+ years of experience in ETL/DWH/BI domains.
• In-depth experience in strategies and design of ETL processes.
• Well versed with RDBMS and Unix scripting.
• Development and implementation experience on at least 2 end-to-end implementations.
• Experience in requirement analysis, design, development, testing for DWH/BI projects.
• Client interaction, requirement gathering and working with offshore teams.
• Prepare high level design and low level design documentation.
• Closely work with QA to ensure timely bug fixes and enhancements.
• Knowledge in automation tools such as Control-M or Autosys.
