Job summary

Fixity Technologies in Seattle seeks an experienced Data Integration Engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy ETL solutions using IBM DataStage 11.x and CP4D, and to contribute to migration initiatives.

You will build scalable pipelines for batch and near-real-time processing, optimize performance, create reusable ETL frameworks, and work closely with Data Architects, BA, Product Owners, QA, and other teams, while upholding security and data quality standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with IBM DataStage 11.x or above.
• Experience with IBM Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D).
• Strong ETL design and development experience.
• Excellent knowledge of Advanced SQL.
• Strong Data Warehousing and Data Modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL and data integration solutions using IBM DataStage 11.x and above.
• Develop scalable data pipelines for batch and near-real-time processing.
• Support DataStage migration and CP4D modernization initiatives.
• Develop reusable ETL frameworks, shared containers, parameter sets, and automation components.
• Perform complex data mapping, transformation, cleansing, enrichment, and validation.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent solutions.
• Work closely with Data Architects, Business Analysts, Product Owners, QA, and other technical teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Create and maintain technical design documents, source-to-target mappings, and operational runbooks.
• Follow enterprise security, data governance, and data quality standards.

• Exposure to cloud-native data architecture and modernization programs.
• Experience with Autosys, Control-M, or other enterprise scheduling tools.
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data lineage.
