Job summary

Cornerstone is seeking an Intensive Behavioral Intervention (IBI) Specialist to partner with leadership and direct care staff at designated service sites. The role focuses on reducing behavioral excesses and teaching replacement behaviors to improve the child’s community participation.

The position requires a Master’s degree in ABA or related field, Indiana licensure, and experience with DD/ID or neuropsychiatric challenges is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in ABA or related field required.
• Indiana license in psychology, counseling, social work or related field.
• Minimum age 21; valid driver’s license; background screening.
• Experience with neuropsychiatric or behavioral challenges preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours/locations and cover shifts.

Responsibilities

• Develop a Behavioral Support Plan (BSP) for each resident.
• BSP supports IPP goals and may include counseling needs per 465 IAC 2.
• Collect information from assessments to inform BSP.
• Perform functional behavior assessments through records, interviews and observation.
• Review BSP annually and update as needed; monitor progress monthly.
• Provide competency-based training on BSP to staff and ensure implementation.
