Job summary

Axis Community Health in Livermore, CA is seeking an Integrated Behavioral Health Staff Therapist to provide direct clinical services in a healthcare setting, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to address mental health and behavioral concerns.

The role requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field, with active licensure (LCSW/LPCC, Psychologist, or LPCC) and 2–5 years of post-licensure experience in integrated care.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field.
• Active licensure as LCSW/LPCC California Board of Behavioral Sciences OR Psychologist with California Board of Psychology OR Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.
• 2–5 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably in integrated care.
• Knowledge of integrated care models, trauma-informed care, and cultural competence.
• Proficiency in evidence-based modalities (CBT, motivational interviewing).

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, or group psychotherapy using evidence-based interventions.
• Complete documentation in the electronic health record in a timely fashion.
• Collaborate with primary care and other professionals to integrate behavioral health into overall care.
