Job summary

Merck seeks a Growth and Improvement minded Regional Medical Scientific Director (MSL) in Inflammatory Bowel Disease Immunology to drive strategic priorities. The role conducts peer scientific discussions, supports company-sponsored trials, and maintains knowledge of AOI to advance scientific insights.

The position requires PhD/MD-level credentials, up-to-date regulatory awareness, and the ability to travel up to 50% within a defined Southern-Midwest territory.

Qualifications

• Proven Immunology expertise with focus on Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
• Three years of relevant Immunology experience beyond terminal degree program.
• Strong written and verbal communication with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Engage in Scientific Exchange with national and regional SLs to share approved information.
• Coordinate with GCSA/GCTO for study concepts and investigator discussions.
• Support scientific congress activities and dissemination of data.
