Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, IL is seeking a dedicated Lactation Consultant to develop, coordinate and deliver care for the maternity patient population on inpatient and outpatient bases.

The role requires IBCLC certification, CPR, and prior hospital lactation experience; duties include education in community breastfeeding, collaborating with RNs, and providing care across day/evening/weekend shifts (12-hour).

Formación

• IBCLC certification required.
• Previous experience as Lactation Consultant in a hospital or clinic setting required.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Develops, coordinates and delivers care to maternity patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Collaborates with RN or other health care workers as appropriate.
• Teach community breastfeeding education courses and see patients in outpatient clinic.
