Job summary

Sierra Medical Center, part of Northern Nevada Health System, is seeking a motivated RN for patient-centered care in a busy acute care setting. The role supports breastfeeding mothers, collaborates with the health team, and upholds service excellence and ethics.

Responsibilities include care planning, coordinating breastfeeding support, and educating patients to achieve individual goals. Must hold Nevada RN license and BLS; IBCLC preferred or required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current Nevada nursing license.
• Current BLS certificate.
• Prefer one year experience in acute care or IBCLC certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care per facility policies and philosophy.
• Provide leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Coordinate care and education for patients and families, including lactation support.
• Demonstrate Patient Centered Care and Service Excellence in all interactions.
