Job summary

Sierra Medical Center, part of Northern Nevada Health System, is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide safe, competent care in accordance with facility policies and philosophy. You will lead and support the healthcare team, guided by patient-centered care and service excellence.

The role requires RN credentials, Nevada licensure, BLS and IBCLC certification, with a preference for 1 year full‑time or 3 years part‑time experience in acute care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current Nevada nursing license.
• Current BLS certificate.
• Current IBCLC certification required.
• Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
• Involves patients and families in care assessment and plans, coordinating care activities as needed.

Education
