Job summary

Bentonville Schools is seeking an International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) Coordinator to lead IB implementation and growth across the district. The role requires coordinating training, authorization, and ongoing evaluation while serving as a liaison among schools, staff, and the IB Organization.

The coordinator will facilitate exhibitions, develop inquiry-based learning units, and monitor alignment with IB standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Educational License.
• Arkansas State Certification as a Teacher.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• Arkansas State Certification in the appropriate grade level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all aspects of implementation and growth of the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP).
• Maintain communication between the school and IB Organization.
• Provide student and teacher support; lead the leadership team.
• Coordinate school authorization and evaluation for the IB programme.
• Oversee PYP and MYP teacher training; review program needs and progress.
• Lead recruitment of students and parents on IB merits.
• Monitor curriculum to ensure IB standards compliance.
• Support professional development for new hires and administration.
• Monitor and review student, teacher, and school data to plan targeted support.
• Collaborate with district IB programmes and other departments.
