Waukegan Community Unit School District No. 60 seeks an International Baccalaureate Coach to serve as the curricular, instructional, and professional learning leader for the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) in a middle school setting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Valid Illinois teaching certification with required endorsements for subject and level assigned.
Minimum of three years teaching experience.
Ability to design curriculum and interpret data, and to develop and deliver staff training.

Responsibilities

Coordinate planning, implementation and monitoring of IB programme development initiatives.
Communicate with the IB for authorization/evaluation and serve as liaison with the school.
Document curriculum and ensure access to IB frameworks and resources.
Lead IB-mandated policy development in accordance with Programme standards.
Participate as a member of the school leadership team.
Design curriculum and promote pedagogical elements of the IB programmes.
Provide guidance and professional learning to staff on teacher development and assessment.
