Responsibilities

• Develop curriculum and materials using IB best practices.
• Instruct in English or Mandarin as appropriate for the class.
• Communicate closely with families regarding program goals and student progress; involve parents in school activities.
• Collaborate with other teachers, coaches, or administrators regarding teaching and planning.
• Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment using Developmental Designs and Responsive Classroom for Middle School.
• Stay current with language acquisition trends and participate in regular planning and staff development.
