Job summary

Selby Jennings is partnering with a leading investment bank to recruit an Investment Banking Analyst for the Consumer, Gaming & Leisure team in the United States. You will work closely with senior bankers on live transactions, gaining exposure to M&A, equity and debt financing, and strategic advisory assignments.

The role emphasizes financial modeling, valuation, and execution, with opportunities to develop expertise across the Consumer, Gaming & Leisure sectors and to contribute to pitch books

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Investment Banking experience.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
• Prior exposure to M&A and/or capital markets transactions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of M&A, equity and debt financing, and strategic advisory transactions
• Build and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materials
• Perform company, industry, and market research across the Consumer, Gaming & Leisure sectors
• Prepare pitch books, management presentations, information memoranda, and other client materials
• Conduct comparable company, precedent transaction, DCF, and other valuation analyses
• Assist with transaction due diligence and coordinate with clients, investors, legal counsel, and other advisors
• Work directly with senior bankers throughout the origination and execution process
