You will report to school leadership and support students with varied accommodations in a culturally sustaining classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• New York Teaching License certification preferred or in process.
• Special Education Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver culturally responsive lessons for a diverse classroom.
• Plan instruction using data and strong content knowledge to meet all learners.
• Collaborate with co-teachers and leaders for PD and advisory groups.
• Provide group and targeted interventions aligned to accommodations.
• Set clear routines and foster a warm, inclusive learning environment.
• Partner with caregivers through regular updates and family meetings.
