Job summary

A healthcare facility in Wheeling, West Virginia is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide Applied Behavior Analytic (ABA) therapy to children with autism. Job description

To provide a range of applied behavior analytic (ABA) assessment and clinical services for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders and related developmental disabilities.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
  • State criminal background check and Federal (if applicable) as required for regulated areas.
Experience
  • Three (3) years of experience providing ABA services to children.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in relevant field of study.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide direct ABA therapy to children with Autism and other developmental disorders in the clinic, home, school, and community settings.
  • Provide parent, teacher, and staff training on the principles of ABA and behavior modification.
  • Provide training and supervision to Behavioral Technicians.
  • Conduct functional behavioral assessments and analyses.
  • Conduct verbal behavior/language assessments (VB-MAPP/ABLLS-R).
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor client progress toward goals.
  • Consult and collaborate with schools, daycares, medical professionals, and other pediatric disciplines.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and oversight of the ABA deportment, ensuring compliance with insurance requirements for session notes, treatment plans, supervision, treatment authorizations, RBT requirements, etc.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement efforts.
  • Consult on and supervise internal and external research projects as directed by BCBA Supervisor.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to be on feet/walking during extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, push, and/or pull 40 pounds.
Working Environment
  • Work is performed in a clinical outpatient environment.
