Job summary

Premier America Credit Union seeks an IAM Information Security Engineer – Chatsworth onsite daily. You will design, implement, and maintain security controls across network, endpoint, server, cloud, and identity platforms to protect systems, data, and compliance.

Lead IAM framework development, support incident response, risk assessments, and audit readiness. Collaborate with IT, Infrastructure, and Application teams to embed security into daily operations and ensure FFIEC/NIST alignment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in information security engineering or related roles with access management experience.
• Experience with Active Directory and ITIL practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security or related field.
• Certifications such as CC, CISM, GIAC, or Security+.
• Knowledge of identity lifecycle and governance processes.
• Experience securing Windows and/or Linux servers, networks, and firewalls.
• Experience with cloud security (Azure & AWS).
• Experience with SIEM, PAM, vulnerability scanners, and EDR.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls across network, endpoint, server, cloud, and identity platforms.
• Configure, tune, and support security tools including EDR/XDR, firewalls, IAM, MFA, and privileged access controls.
• Monitor security alerts, investigate, and support incident containment and remediation.
• Lead IAM framework development and collaborate with stakeholders to meet regulatory requirements (FFIEC, NIST).
• Participate in audit related activities pertaining to IT access for internal/external audits.
• Assist in risk assessments, vendor reviews, and exception requests.
• Drive continuous quality and process improvements within InfoSec and IT.
