Job summary

Amex GBT is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead IAM initiatives enterprise-wide, translating business needs into technical roadmaps and coordinating across infrastructure, security, and applications.

You’ll own delivery for IAM platforms (Okta, CyberArk, Saviynt) and manage multi‑team efforts, risks, and change with a focus on value delivery, compliance, and post‑implementation operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business, or related field.
• 10+ years in project/program management; 5+ years IAM/security/enterprise IT projects.
• 3+ years hands-on with enterprise IAM platforms (Okta, Saviynt, or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of IAM platforms, governance, and compliance controls.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and ability to translate technical architecture into business context.

Responsibilities

• Define project charters and scope for IAM initiatives, breaking implementations into workstreams.
• Develop schedules, resource plans, and cost estimates with technical leads.
• Lead governance boards and communicate status, risks, and decisions to stakeholders.
• Provide technical project leadership on platform implementations (Okta, CyberArk, Saviynt).
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and manage change and cutover activities.
