Job summary

Piper Companies seeks a Technical Project Manager to lead IAM initiatives within a cybersecurity tech environment. You will drive access governance, provisioning, and compliance across cross-functional teams, leveraging Jira for agile delivery and reporting.

Responsibilities include coordinating IAM, DevOps, and IaC efforts with Terraform and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), developing status updates for executives, and promoting PM best practices to improve security and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience leading technical or infrastructure-focused initiatives.
• Extensive experience utilizing Jira for project tracking, Agile delivery, dashboard creation, workflow management, and stakeholder reporting.
• Strong experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM), including user lifecycle management, access governance, and security controls.
• Demonstrated success coordinating initiatives between multiple IAM, security, and engineering teams.
• Understanding of DevOps methodologies and software delivery best practices.
• Experience supporting Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives with Terraform.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or similar certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead IAM projects, ensuring delivery of access governance, provisioning, and compliance initiatives.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and track project execution through Jira, including sprint planning, backlog management, and reporting.
• Manage project timelines, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communications across security, infrastructure, and engineering teams.
• Coordinate IAM, DevOps, and application teams to implement scalable access management solutions.
• Partner with technical teams supporting IaC initiatives utilizing Terraform and cloud-based technologies.
• Develop and present project status updates, metrics, and executive-level reporting.
• Drive process improvements and establish PM best practices to increase operational efficiency.
• Ensure projects align with organizational security, compliance, and business objectives.
