Job summary

Tulip is seeking an engineering leader focused on security to own identity and access, including SSO/SAML/OIDC and multi-tenant architectures. You will lead a small team, stay hands-on in design and code reviews, and push AI tooling in the SDLC to elevate quality and shipping velocity.

You will collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, Product, and Customer Success on enterprise compliance and tenant isolation, delivering secure, scalable solutions for frontline operations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on depth with OAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0, OIDC, and SCIM in enterprise environments.
• Experience building multi-tenant systems with strong tenant isolation.
• 3+ years managing engineering teams in B2B SaaS.
• Working knowledge of IAM, secrets management, and access policy across AWS and Azure.
• Track record of shipping clean, tested code.
• Active use of AI tooling in engineering practice.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and roadmap for identity & access - SSO/SAML/OIDC federation, SCIM provisioning, multi-tenant accounts.
• Lead and grow a small, high-caliber team with regular 1:1s and code reviews.
• Stay technically engaged through design reviews and runbooks.
• Represent Identity & Access in cross-functional architecture reviews.
• Partner with Security, Infrastructure, Product, and Customer Success on enterprise compliance.
• Drive adoption of AI tooling in code review and test generation.
• Make hard tradeoffs on IAM and access policies for tenant isolation.
• Ship work that reaches customers quickly with operational excellence.
