Northwood, a modern space infrastructure company, is seeking a Corporate IT Security Engineer to own the design and implementation of its identity architecture. You will govern access to corporate systems, cloud environments, and government workloads with robust, auditable, least-privilege controls.

This mid-level IC role focuses on Okta expertise, IAM architecture, SSO, and RBAC across hybrid environments, partnering with Security Engineering, GRC, and IT leadership to meet CMMC Level 2, NIST,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on IAM engineering with Okta administration in production.
• Deep Okta expertise: SSO, lifecycle management, MFA enforcement, adaptive auth.
• Strong understanding of SSO protocols (SAML 2.0, OIDC, OAuth 2.0).
• Experience designing RBAC frameworks and entitlement reviews.
• Familiarity with privileged access management concepts and service accounts.
• Understanding IAM requirements within government frameworks (NIST 800-171, ITAR).
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship or LPR.
• Experience integrating identity with endpoint management, cloud, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Own Okta environment end-to-end: tenant config, app integrations, lifecycle management, MFA policy enforcement, directory sync.
• Design and maintain SSO architecture across corporate and government-facing apps.
• Develop adaptive auth policies and risk-based access controls.
• Manage Okta workflows for provisioning, deprovisioning, and access changes across employees and contractors.
• Maintain Okta health, audit logging, and SIEM integration.
• Design and implement RBAC across corporate and government systems; enforce least privilege.
• Define access reviews and entitlement certification campaigns; ensure compliance.
• Enforce segregation of duties controls across critical systems.
• Lead SSO onboarding for SaaS apps and internal tools; ensure standards are met.
• Ensure Okta log ingestion and identity-based alerting within SIEM.
• Support identity controls with endpoint management platforms.
• Support audits for CMMC, FedRAMP, ITAR; provide compliance documentation.
