Job summary

Northwood Space in Torrance, CA seeks a mid-level Identity & Endpoint Security Engineer to design and implement Northwood's identity architecture. You will own Okta end-to-end, enforce access control, and lead SSO integration across corporate and government workloads in a hybrid environment.

You will work with Security Operations, GRC, and engineers to ensure CMMC/NIST alignment, RBAC governance, and secure device management across macOS, Windows, Linux, and mobile endpoints.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on IAM engineering experience with Okta administration in production.
• Deep Okta expertise: SSO, MFA, lifecycle management, and SIEM integration.
• Experience designing RBAC frameworks and entitlement reviews.
• Understanding of government compliance: NIST 800-171, ITAR familiarity.
• Ability to obtain/maintain TS clearance and U.S. citizenship or LPR.

Responsibilities

• Own Okta environment end-to-end: tenant config, app integrations, provisioning, MFA policy.
• Design/maintain SSO architecture across corporate and government apps.
• Implement adaptive authentication and risk-based access controls.
• Lead RBAC and access governance, including reviews and evidence.
• Architect MDM policies and device hardening across platforms.
• Lead SSO onboarding for SaaS apps and government platforms.
• Collaborate with GRC, SOC, and IT teams on audits and controls.
