Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced IAM Lead with deep expertise in Identity & Access Management (IAM). The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of IAM governance frameworks, security best practices, and least privilege principles across enterprise environments. This role requires a self-driven leader who can independently drive strategic IAM initiatives, manage client relationships, lead cross-functional teams, and provide executive-level reporting while ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and security governance.
Key Responsibilities
I AM Governance & Program Management
- Lead IAM governance programs, policies, standards, and control frameworks across the organization.
- Drive adoption of IAM best practices, least-privilege access models, and security-by-design principles.
- Manage IAM program budgets, vendor relationships, licensing, and service performance.
- Prepare and present IAM metrics, risks, compliance posture, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Partner with business, risk, compliance, audit, and technology teams to ensure alignment of IAM objectives with organizational goals.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
- Lead cross-functional teams across security, infrastructure, application, risk, and compliance functions.
- Drive strategic planning, roadmap definition, and execution of IAM initiatives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business and technology leadership on identity security strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Deep expertise in Identity & Access Management (IAM), Identity Governance Administration (IGA), and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
- Strong experience implementing IAM governance frameworks and enforcing least-privilege access models across enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing IAM programs, vendor relationships, budgets, and strategic initiatives.
- Proven ability to independently drive complex projects with minimal supervision and ownership mindset.
- Strong understanding of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) requirements within regulated industries, preferably BFSI.
- Experience presenting technical and program-level updates to executive leadership and client stakeholders.
- Excellent people management, mentoring, and team leadership skills.
