Job summary

State Farm is seeking an Identity & Access Control Analyst with a software development background to join the Authorization Management team. The role focuses on developing automation, managing identities and entitlements, and building secure APIs across the enterprise.

Hybrid work means time from home and in the Tempe, AZ hub. Candidates should have cloud experience (AWS/Azure), CI/CD, and scripting; CISSP-like certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Prior software development experience.
• Cloud Platform Experience: AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Application development tools (editors, compilers).
• CI/CD pipelines, automation tools.
• Framework/Library: REACT, Angular.
• Spring Framework: Spring, Spring Boot.
• Source Code Management (Git, GitLab).
• Understanding of software design patterns, testing techniques, and software security scanning.
• Scripting: PERL, Python, PowerShell, Bash, NodeJS, JavaScript, TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Develops, tests, and maintains information security solutions and access controls.
• Designs secure APIs and services for certification, reporting, and workflow orchestration.
• Builds and maintains access review workflows and data integrations.
• Partners with teams to embed identity and access controls across technologies.
• Supports certification remediation and evidence retention.
