Job summary

Stand Together, Arlington, VA seeks an Identity and Access Management Solutions Architect to design, build, and own the IAM architecture across human and non-human identities. The role focuses on strategy, design, governance, and hands-on implementation with Okta and Auth0, serving as the technical authority on identity security and zero-trust patterns.

Qualifications

• Extensive identity and access management experience.
• Hands-on with Okta and Auth0 architectures.
• Strong knowledge of authentication standards: OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM.
• Experience with zero-trust architectures and IAM governance.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise IAM architecture across Okta/Auth0 including SSO, MFA, adaptive auth and federation.
• Own strategy for non-human identities: service accounts, workload identities, secrets and machine-to-machine auth.
• Define and enforce identity governance standards and least-privilege models.
• Model identity lifecycle processes: provisioning, de-provisioning, RBAC/ABAC.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and infra to embed identity-first design.
• Evaluate, select, and implement IAM tooling and migrations between platforms.
• Establish monitoring, auditing, and incident response for identity risks.
• Serve as IAM subject-matter expert for audits and security assessments.
