Job summary

Tek One Solutions is seeking an experienced Electronic Security Systems (ESS) Project Manager to lead large-scale deployments in hyperscale data centers and mission-critical environments. This highly field-oriented role requires spending 80–90% of the active project lifecycle onsite, from mobilization through commissioning and turnover.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electronic security systems project management experience.
• 2+ years of data center or mission-critical project experience.
• Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems.
• Experience managing field operations and large installation teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Teams, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience using Procore or similar construction/project management software.
• Willingness to travel nationally based on project requirements.
• Ability to support extended hours, nights, weekends, or alternate shifts when project schedules require.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite project lead for large-scale ESS deployments.
• Manage day-to-day field operations, manpower, schedule, and project priorities.
• Oversee installation and integration of access control systems, CCTV, and intrusion solutions.
• Coordinate field technicians, subcontractors, general contractors, and other trades.
• Develop, maintain, and track project schedules and milestones.
• Monitor labor productivity, project costs, materials, and overall financial performance.
• Coordinate equipment procurement, delivery, staging, and deployment readiness.
• Identify, document, price, and manage change orders.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and customer updates.
• Review drawings, specifications, system requirements, and installation standards.
• Ensure compliance with data center safety, security, and site-access requirements.
• Support system testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and acceptance.
• Manage punch lists and final project closeout.
• Communicate project status, risks, and corrective actions to internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain multiple concurrent priorities while meeting demanding project schedules.

Electronic Security Systems (ESS) Project Manager – Data Center Deployments

Location: Atlanta, GA

Base Salary: $95,000–$120,000

Position Overview

Tek One Solutions is recruiting an experienced Electronic Security Systems (ESS) Project Manager to lead large-scale security deployments within hyperscale data center and mission-critical environments.

This is a highly field-oriented project management position. The successful candidate should expect to spend approximately 80–90% of the active project lifecycle onsite, leading execution from mobilization through commissioning and final turnover.

We are looking for an experienced ESS professional who understands access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, field operations, project controls, and data center construction and can successfully manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing field operations and large installation teams
• Strong understanding of project scheduling, labor tracking, budgeting, and change management
• Ability to read and interpret security drawings, specifications, and project documentation
• Exceptional organization and multitasking ability
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems in fast-paced field environments
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Teams, Word, and PowerPoint
• Experience using Procore or similar construction/project management software
• Willingness to travel nationally based on project requirements
• Ability to support extended hours, nights, weekends, or alternate shifts when project schedules require

Preferred Technical Experience

• Genetec access control and video systems
• Candidates without current certification should be capable of obtaining certification within approximately 90 days
• Experience managing security deployments in hyperscale data centers
• Previous field leadership, operations, superintendent, or senior technician experience is highly valued

Travel & Initial Training

In addition to a $95,000–$120,000 base salary, the position offers total compensation potential of approximately $170,000, depending on performance and compensation structure.
