Job summary

Columbia University Irving Medical Center is seeking a Compliance and Training Coordinator (CTC) to oversee compliance monitoring in animal care environments. This role requires a bachelor's degree along with four years of related experience in laboratory animal settings.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent plus four years of related laboratory animal experience.
• Certified Professional in IACUC Administration (CPIA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend IACUC protocol review and regular meetings.
• Disseminate information/advice on various aspects of the animal care and use program for Columbia University researchers.
• Maintain knowledge of current information and issues regarding laboratory animal science.
• Visit and assess animal care and use facilities.
• Report results and findings of the faculty and laboratory assessments.
• Conduct review of animal use records.
• Conduct pre-review of protocols for compliance.
