Job summary

The University of Chicago's Animal Resources Center (ARC) within BSD ARC - IACUC/IBC seeks a Sr. Analyst to maintain regulatory compliance programs for animal research, coordinating reviews and audits.

You will partner with investigators to navigate animal and biosafety protocol submissions, prepare committee materials, support post-approval monitoring, and assist with training modules. The role is hybrid, 40 hours weekly, and requires 3+ years in related biological research settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in related field.
• 2-5 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
• 3+ years of experience with biological research and animal research or animal care environment/setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to investigators in preparation of animal and biosafety research protocols and perform administrative reviews.
• Verify training completion and congruence with related grants using the AURA system for IACUC/IBC reviews.
• Prepare and conduct semi-annual facility inspections and coordinate related audits and MOUs with URA.
• Assist with PAM, record reviews, and training module development with ARC Compliance/Training.
• Coordinate compliance meetings and support regulatory agency inspections.
• Perform other related work as needed.
