Job summary

Pella Corporation is seeking an I4.0 Process / Systems Engineer to design, implement, and optimize advanced manufacturing processes on the Intelligent Operations team. You will collaborate with operations, IT, and engineering to integrate smart manufacturing systems and automate processes on the factory floor.

You will lead projects from ideation through execution, work with cross-functional teams, and stay current with Industry 4.0 trends to drive efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelorkerbd degree in engineering or similar technical field (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, etc.).
• 3+ years experience with manufacturing processes and digital systems to support operations.
• Experience with manufacturing software & systems (ERP, sensors, IoT, digital workstations) and system integration.
• Experience leading, planning, and managing projects from ideation through execution, meeting timelines and budgets.
• Familiarity with Agile environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes using Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Collaborate with operations to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Lead the integration and maintenance of IoT devices, sensors, and data acquisition systems.
• Analyze process data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
• Provide training to junior engineers and production staff on new processes and equipment.
• Support maintenance and troubleshooting of intelligent operations systems.
