Job summary

Chamonix Casino & Hotel in Cripple Creek, CO is seeking an IT professional to support MIS operations, network, and desktop environments. You will assist with installations, configurations, and usability while following policy and compliance requirements.

Five years of MIS experience and 2+ years in help desk or desktop support are expected. Certifications such as A+, Network+, ITIL 4 are a plus; Colorado Gaming License is required.

Qualifications

  • Assists with all computer affiliated Management Information Systems (MIS), including but not limited to: network administration, hardware and software review, purchase, support and installation, and telecommunication systems support. Assists with MIS operations to maintain and improve services to guests and to enhance the performance of staff members.
  • Assist IT staff with installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of desktops, laptops, peripheral equipment, and software, complying with given standards and guidelines.
  • Assists with current state-of-the-art knowledge of various computer hardware and software products and services. Ensures reference and technical manuals are up-to-date and complete.
  • Complies with departmental policies and procedures for purchasing supplies, equipment, and services. Obtains all necessary authorizations, as required.
  • Performs all responsibilities in compliance with various federal and state regulations, the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, Internal Control Minimum Procedures, internal policies and procedures, and Colorado Limited Gaming Regulations.
  • Maintains a general awareness of MIS operations, IT operations, and security at all times. Promptly reports concerns or recommendations to IT Management.
  • Participate in important technological department projects and perform problem diagnosis of network and desktop environments under IT Management direction.
  • Maintain and resolve issues on LAN/WAN, VoIP telephone, Wi‑Fi, Audio\\Video systems, and other computing equipment.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining documentation for end‑user training, internal IT procedures, and audit purposes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Five (5) or more years of recent and related management information systems experience. Two (2) or more years of providing support as a Level 1- Help Desk, Windows Server Administrator, Desktop Support, or Systems Administrator providing End User Support and Customer Service. Relevant education/certifications to be considered instead of on-the-job experience. One or more of the following is strongly preferred but not required: Comp TIA, A+, Network+, ITF+, Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA), Google IT Support, IBM IT Support, or ITIL 4 Foundation.

  • Agilysys and Kanomi systems experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills and a willingness to learn new systems.
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to manage time effectively.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • College coursework or certification in I.T. (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITF+, or equivalent) degree preferred.
  • Up to 2 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role.

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES:

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Colorado Gaming License.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

$25.00+ an hour based on experience
