Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Gilbert, AZ is seeking an I&T Mechanical Engineer (1st Shift) to support integration and test activities for space vehicle systems. You will coordinate mechanical build and production operations and develop detailed test instructions.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering, experience with Creo CAD, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Experience with Creo CAD Software.
• Experience with CAD configuration management.
• Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform I&T activities for space vehicle systems and hardware.
• Coordinate and oversee mechanical build and production operations.
• Develop detailed work instructions or test procedures.
• Provide mentor guidance to other engineers and support staff.
• Ensure safety and test constraints are identified and mitigated.
