Job summary

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Technical training in instrumentation or electrical systems preferred.
Experience in industrial environments preferred.
Ability to read electrical schematics and P&IDs.

Responsibilities

Install, calibrate, repair transmitters, valves, actuators, and positioners.
Test effects of operating conditions: vibration, temperature, pressure, pH, conductivity.
Use calibration tools including pressure/temperature calibrators and HART communicators.
Perform preventive maintenance on motors, drives, breakers, and related equipment.
Troubleshoot control loops and electrical/instrumentation issues.
Read interconnection diagrams, P&IDs, loop sheets, and schematics.
Respond to emergencies and restore safe operations.
Maintain maintenance, inspection, and calibration records.
Work with computer systems to document work and communicate data.
